Cross Stuffing

In this type of sea transportation, cargo and goods are transferred from one ship to another ship to continue the journey, or even in some cases, the cargo inside the container is exchanged with another container; This method is usually used in small or sanctioned ports.

For example, in some ports, due to some restrictions, it is not possible to load or unload cargo directly, so commercial companies are forced to use the cross-staff method. One of these limitations is that the volume of the ship is large and the port does not have the capacity to dock a ship with such a volume, so the ship stops in a place outside the port and transfers the containers to smaller ships than they are in the side port. take and unload the load. Using the cross-staffing method in this situation is the only way that allows the received shipments to enter the country.

In order to bypass the sanctions with the cross-staff method, a third country is needed, which should not have special restrictions in the maritime transport laws.
